iSaloni!

Festivaly a veletrhy

Hard on the heels of last year’s successful edition, which netted over 2,500 exhibitors and 285,698 sectoral operators, the Saloni will be back at the Rho Milan Fairgrounds from 8th to 13th April 2014.

The Fair will showcase a very broad range of goods, notable for their variety, quality and innovative nature.
The Salone Internazionale del Mobile and the International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition will showcase furnishings and styles of all types, from classic to modern to design. The Fair will include the biennial EuroCucina - exhibiting extras and accessories for the kitchen, as well as furniture - along with its collateral event FTK (Technology For the Kitchen), dedicated to technological innovation in built-in electrical appliances and cooker hoods.
The other biennial, the International Bathroom Exhibition, will show the latest furniture and accessories for bathrooms, showers, saunas, hydromassage tubs, sanitary ware and radiators.
Last but not least, and as unmissable as ever, will be SaloneSatellite, a platform for the creations of the very best to up-and-coming young designers.

To help you plan your trip and visit to the Saloni to best advantage, the following are some general pointers.

I Saloni will be open to sectoral operators only from 9.30 am to 6.30 pm, while on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th April, the Fair will also be open to the general public. SaloneSatellite, however, will be open to the public, free of charge, for the duration of the Fair.

Entry passes will be available at a reduced rate from the www.cosmit.it website as from January 2014 - further details will be provided in the next few newsletters. Full-price entry passes will be on sale at the reception desks during the Fair.

The Rho Milan Fairgrounds can be accessed by underground (M1 Red Line, Rho-fieramilano last stop) and by suburban railway (Linee Ferroviarie Suburbane, also known as Passante).

There are underground connections from all the Milan stations - Centrale, Porta Garibaldi, Lambrate and Cadorna to the Rho Fairgrounds. During the week of the Saloni, some high speed trains will also stop at Rho-Fiera station, thanks to an agreement with Trenitalia.
There are also good connections to Linate, Malpensa and Orio al Serio airports.
Further details can be found at www.cosmit.it/en/milano/info/transportation

For those preferring to drive, there are around 11,000 parking spaces at the Fairgrounds. Many underground stations also have car parking facilities.

The Ventana travel agency is on hand for those wanting help with organising their trips (isalonivisitors@ventanagroup.it - Tel: +39 0245402049). Otherwise accommodation can be booked directly by visiting the www.cosmit.it/en/milano/info/travel_accommodation_5 section of the www.cosmit.it website.
