Things are hotting up for the 54th edition of the Salone del Mobile: the international home furnishing event will be back from 14th to 19th April 2015, following the success of the previous edition, in which 2,000 exhibitors and more than 350,000 visitors from 170 different countries took part.
This year, the Salone Internazionale del Mobile and the International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition - presenting the very latest in all types of furnishing and styles, from classic to modern to design - will be accompanied by the biennial lighting and workplace exhibitions.
Euroluce - in Pavilions 9/11 and 13/15 - showcases innovative outdoor, indoor and special use lighting solutions, lighting systems, light sources and lighting application software, while Workplace3.0/ SaloneUfficio - in Pavilions 22/24 - provides a fresh new take on the exhibition concept with ideas and design triggers for planning workspaces in their many different contemporary interpretations. The exhibits range from furniture for offices, public and community spaces to internal partitions and coverings, as well as communication systems, technological and audiovisual service systems and much more. 'The Walk', an exhibition/event curated by architect Michele De Lucchi, will round off Workplace3.0 / SaloneUfficio.
As always, SaloneSatellite, the unrivalled platform for innovative creations by young designers, will be crammed with original designs. Open to the public for the duration of the trade fair, no admission charges.
