The International Triennial of Silicate Arts 2014

• Information and application forms are on the Triennial website www.kitsa.org
• Application deadline will be30th April 2014. Late arrivals cannot be considered for selection.
• All applicants will be notified of the decision of the jury by31st May 2014.
• All selected works will be delivered to the exhibition address by15th July 2014 at the latest.
• Selection of the award winners will be made by the jury in early August 2014. Winners will be notified as soon as possible after this date.
• Award ceremony and exhibition opening will be at the Kecskemét Cultural and Conference Centre on 3rd August 2014.
A non-refundable participation fee of 40 Euro is payable by foreign applicants to cover organisation and administration costs, publications etc.
Awards
1st Prize - 1,000,000 HUF plus solo exhibition in the Kápolna Gallery, Kecskemét
2nd Prize - 750,000 HUF plus solo exhibition in the Kápolna Gallery, Kecskemét
3rd Prize - 500,000 HUF plus solo exhibition in the Kápolna Gallery, Kecskemét
The Foundation for Contemporary Ceramic Arts' Emerging Artist Special Award - 1 month free residency at the International Ceramics Studio, Kecskemét, including 100,000 HUF for materials and firing costs plus solo exhibition
All prize money is in Hungarian forints.
All prize-winning works will become the property of the Foundation for Contemporary Ceramic Arts and will displayed in the collection of the Kecskemét Contemporary Art Studios - International Ceramics Studio.
